Only for RCI Psychologist Role Description The RCI Consulting Psychologist will provide psychological services, including assessment, counseling, and mental health support, to clients and stakeholders in alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.
Responsibilities include conducting detailed psychological evaluations, preparing skilled reports, and collaborating with multidisciplinary medical and healthcare teams to develop and monitor individualized care plans. The role involves offering evidence-based counseling and psychoeducation, supporting mental health promotion initiatives, and maintaining accurate, confidential records. The psychologist will also contribute to training, awareness programs, and quality improvement activities related to mental health services.
This is a full time, in office role based in Kochi.
Qualifications
Robust foundation in Psychology and Mental Health, with the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical clinical settings.
Proficiency in Psychological Assessment,
including administration, scoring, and interpretation of standardized tools.
Skills in Counseling, with experience in providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions and psychoeducation.
Understanding of Medicine and healthcare systems sufficient to collaborate effectively with medical professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology or related field, with RCI registration (or eligibility) as a Clinical Psychologist.
Experience in hospital or clinical settings, preferably within multidisciplinary or integrated healthcare environments.
Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with a client-centered and ethical approach to care.
Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage caseloads efficiently, and contribute to mental health training and awareness initiatives.
