Position: Retail Sales Associate Company: The Yarn Story Location: Delhi (In-Store) Job Type: Full time Job Overview We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused, and presentable Retail Sales Associate to join our flagship store in Delhi. In this role, you will act as the face of The Yarn Story , assisting customers, driving retail sales, and delivering a premium, personalized shopping experience Key Responsibilities Customer Service & Sales: Greet incoming store guests, assist them with product selections (apparel/home textiles/accessories), and drive monthly sales targets.

Product Knowledge: Develop a robust understanding of fabric types, weaves, designs, and brand stories to educate shoppers effectively.

Store Operations: Manage POS billing, handle cash/digital transactions, and track stock levels using RFID/barcoding systems.

Visual Merchandising: Maintain overall store cleanliness, aesthetic standards, shelf displays, and stock organization.





Inventory Tracking: Support regular stock audits, incoming shipment receiving, and inventory updating.

Clientele Building: Maintain a polite demeanor, take customer feedback, and record contact details for CRM and promotional campaigns.

Requirements &

Qualifications Experience: 1–3 years of experience in retail sales (experience in apparel, luxury goods, home decor, or textiles is preferred).

Education: Minimum Higher Secondary (10 2) or Graduate in any field.

Communication: Valuable verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.

Skills: Basic computer skills (Excel, POS/billing software familiarity), customer engagement, and basic negotiation abilities.

Availability: Willingness to work retail store shifts, weekends, and holidays.
