We are hiring for one of our esteemed clients, a leading organization in the steel manufacturing industry, for the position of Sales Head.

The role is responsible for leading the national sales function for the Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes business, driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, strengthening customer relationships, and developing high-performing sales teams across India.

Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the national sales strategy to achieve business growth and profitability targets.
Drive sales of Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes across key industry segments.
Identify and develop new business prospects while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
Manage key accounts, distributors, channel partners, OEMs, EPC contractors, and industrial clients.
Lead and mentor regional sales teams, ensuring achievement of sales targets and business objectives.
Develop pricing strategies, negotiate commercial terms, and oversee contract finalization.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, customer requirements, and emerging business opportunities.
Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, planning, and finance teams to ensure seamless order execution and customer satisfaction.
Prepare annual sales plans, forecasts, budgets, and business reviews.




Drive customer engagement initiatives and strengthen the company's market position across India.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related discipline (MBA preferred).
Minimum 15 years of experience in Sales and Business Development within the Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes industry.
Robust understanding of the stainless steel pipes & tubes market, applications, customer segments, and distribution channels.
Proven track record of achieving revenue growth and managing large national sales operations.
Experience handling customers across sectors such as Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Process Industries, Power, Infrastructure, Engineering, Automotive, Food Processing, Pharma, or similar industrial segments.
Excellent commercial negotiation, key account management, and leadership skills.

Mandatory Criteria
Minimum 15 years of relevant sales experience.
Mandatory experience in the Stainless Steel Pipes & Tubes industry.
Solid exposure to pan-India sales operations and business development.
Proven experience leading large sales teams and handling key strategic accounts.
Based in or willing to relocate to Mumbai.
