Role Description The Senior Cloud Security Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Abroad, responsible for leading the design, implementation, and monitoring of secure cloud architectures that support Esse India’s digital operations. The role involves defining and enforcing cloud security policies, managing access controls, conducting regular risk assessments, and overseeing incident response procedures for cloud-based systems. This position collaborates with IT, operations, and leadership teams to ensure secure integration of cloud services, compliance with relevant regulations, and alignment with business objectives.

Daily activities include evaluating recent cloud security tools, reviewing security logs and alerts, coordinating penetration tests, guiding security awareness initiatives, and mentoring junior security staff.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Information Security and Cybersecurity skills, including risk assessment, threat analysis, and incident response.

Candidates should possess solid Network Security skills, including secure network design, firewall configuration,



and monitoring of network traffic in cloud environments.

Candidates should possess robust Security Management skills, such as policy development, governance, audits, and compliance with industry standards.

Candidates should possess understanding of Physical Security controls as they relate to data centers and infrastructure supporting cloud services.

Experience with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-native security tools.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.

Proven experience in a senior security or cloud security leadership role, preferably in a consulting or professional services setting.

Robust analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and lead teams.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
