Role Description The Senior Gold Loan role is a full time, remote position responsible for managing and growing the gold loan portfolio while ensuring robust customer service and compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities typically include evaluating gold collateral, assessing loan eligibility, processing applications, and monitoring loan accounts for timely repayments.

The role involves coordinating with internal teams for documentation, risk checks, and collections, as well as maintaining accurate records in digital systems.



This position also focuses on building and nurturing customer relationships, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and contributing to process improvements in gold loan operations.

Qualifications
Strong knowledge of gold loan products, collateral evaluation, and retail lending processes.
Experience in credit assessment, risk management, and recovery or collections in financial services.
Proficiency in using digital tools, loan management systems, and basic data analysis for portfolio tracking.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
Attention to detail, integrity in handling valuables, and adherence to regulatory and internal compliance norms.
Ability to work independently in a remote setup, manage time effectively, and meet performance targets.
Prior experience in NBFCs, banks, or lending institutions, especially in gold loans or retail credit, is preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, commerce, business administration, or a related field; relevant certifications are an advantage.
