Work Schedule:
Workdays: 5 days per week
Weekly Off: 2 days
Working Hours: 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
Maintain accurate and up-to-date bookkeeping records, including journal entries, ledgers, and general accounting transactions
Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy between bank statements and internal records
Prepare and post month-end closing entries, including accruals, provisions, and adjustments
Conduct balance sheet reconciliations on a periodic basis to ensure accuracy of asset and liability accounts
Assist statutory and internal auditors by preparing schedules, providing supporting documentation, and resolving audit queries
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and internal policies
Coordinate with other departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely financial reporting
Any other duties assigned by the management.
Requirements
M.Com, MBA (Finance), or CA (Inter) qualification/CMA Inter /ACCA
2 - 3 years of relevant experience in accounting, preferably in a similar role
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and reconciliation processes
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, SAP, or similar) and MS Excel
Valuable analytical skills with robust attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines, especially during month-end and audit periods
Robust communication skills to liaise with auditors and internal stakeholders
