About This Role We're building infrastructure that runs the backbone of contemporary businesses — AI-native ERPs, autonomous agent platforms, and high-throughput data pipelines. As a Senior Backend Engineer at SequenceDynamics, you'll architect systems that handle millions of events daily, design APIs that scale without warning, and ensure our platforms stay at 99.9% uptime under load. This isn't a "sprinkle AI on existing code" role.

You'll be involved in decisions that shape product architecture from the ground up.

What You'll Do Design and own high-performance microservices and event-driven architectures

Build scalable REST and gRPC APIs consumed by our products and client platforms

Optimise PostgreSQL/Redis/ClickHouse query performance under multi-tenant load

Lead technical design reviews and mentor junior engineers

Collaborate closely with AI/ML team to productionise model outputs

Ensure system observability, alerting, and incident response are always best-in-class





Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation on AWS/GCP What We're Looking For 5+ years of backend engineering with Node.js, Go, or Python

Proven experience designing distributed systems at production scale

Robust command of PostgreSQL, Redis, and message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform on AWS or GCP

Experience with event-driven architectures and domain-driven design

Ability to own a technical domain end-to-end with minimal supervision Nice to Have These aren't blockers — if you have them, outstanding. If not, tell us why you'd learn rapid.

Experience with ERP, logistics, or fintech domain systems

OpenTelemetry / distributed tracing experience

Contributions to open-source backend projects

Experience with Supabase or similar BaaS platforms
