Role & responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for eCommerce websites and APIs.
Use SmartBear tools such as TestComplete, SoapUI, and LoadNinja to perform UI, functional, performance, and API testing.
Collaborate with developers, designers, product managers, and DevOps to identify defects, reproduce bugs, and validate fixes.
Conduct cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
Ensure that web pages comply with performance, usability, and accessibility standards.
Maintain and improve test plans, test cases, and automation scripts.
Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Preferred candidate profile
25 years of hands-on QA experience, preferably in eCommerce or web application testing.
Experience using SmartBear test tools (TestComplete, SoapUI, LoadNinja, BitBar).
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)



and RESTful APIs.
Experience with bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, QAComplete, or Zephyr.
Robust understanding of software testing methodologies (functional, regression, performance, smoke testing).
Solid knowledge of cross-browser and responsive testing best practices.
Attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
Experience testing Shopify, Magento, or other major eCommerce platforms.
Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, VBScript) for test automation.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git.
Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and QA's role within the SDLC.
Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and tools (e.g., Axe, Wave).
