Job Responsibilities - Our product team is responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and managing Hexagon's HxGN Databridge Pro (DBPro) product. DBPro powered by Apache NiFi, provides a cloud-based, multi-tenant platform to build integrations for HxGN EAM customer engagements, integration to Xalt and other Hexagon products. Hexagon is seeking a highly motivated QA analyst to join the team.

The QA Analyst in this position, works on product development projects and supports implementations of our product. This person is responsible for designing, writing, executing, and maintaining test automation scripts and reporting results to management. They will oversee the quality of the product and ensure that all company process and procedures are followed.
Our application is a multi-tenant AWS cloud-based application. This is an exciting time for our team as our application is being used as the company standard product for moving data between Hexagon applications. You will contribute by partnering with solution architects and implementation teams to ensure clean code is released for production.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:




Review requirements and other specifications to assess impact areas to the existing system and for completeness and accuracy
Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases
Identify and recreate defects and perform defect fix verification of software defects, using a defect tracking tool (JIRA)
Work with developers and business analysts to resolve outstanding issues
Work closely with leads and managers to report status, communicate impediments, plan and estimate QA tasks, and identify and mitigate project risks
May be required to work extended hours to meet project timelines as needed Education / Qualifications - Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
2+ years of software quality assurance testing preferred - Functional and End to End test case development experience
Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
Basic knowledge creating and editing XML
Basic knowledge of defect reporting and tracking using tools such as Jira - Experience testing in an Agile development setting
Communicates in English effectively (both written and verbally)
Ability to deliver results, prioritize activities, and to manage time effectively
Knowledge on API testing
