Job Title: Senior Test Engineer (API Testing) Location: Chennai (Work from Office) Experience: 7.1 9 Years Job Summary We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer with solid experience in API Testing, Test Automation, SQL, and Agile methodologies. The ideal candidate should have expertise in Postman, Playwright, JavaScript, and database testing, along with hands-on experience in automation frameworks and test lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities Analyze requirements and prepare test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.

Execute

Functional, Integration, API, and Regression Testing. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts. Perform API testing using Postman. Execute database validation using SQL and MongoDB. Identify, track, and report defects throughout the testing lifecycle. Maintain test documentation and automation assets.



Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams to ensure high-quality releases. Support release activities and continuous quality improvements.

Mandatory

Skills 7+ years of Software Testing experience. API Testing using Postman. Test Automation using Playwright. JavaScript for automation scripting. SQL and MongoDB. GitLab. Test-Driven Development (TDD). Agile/Scrum methodology. Test Planning, Test Case Design & Defect Management. Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills. Valuable to Have Azure DevOps or Octane. Dynatrace. Kibana (Log Analysis). CI/CD exposure. Banking or Insurance domain experience.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent.
