Role Description This is a full time, in office Student role based in Chennai. The role involves supporting research activities in quantum sensing, including assisting in laboratory experiments, preparing samples, and helping maintain experimental setups. The student will collect and organize data, perform basic analysis under guidance, and contribute to documenting results and procedures.

Day-to-day tasks may include literature review, preparing reports or presentations, and collaborating with researchers on ongoing projects.



The role offers opportunities to learn advanced concepts in quantum physics and materials science while working closely with the core research team.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in physics, materials science, electrical engineering, or a related discipline.

Candidates should possess skills in basic laboratory work, experimental handling, and safe use of scientific equipment.

Candidates should possess skills in data organization, basic data analysis, and use of standard scientific or technical software tools.

Candidates should possess skills in technical writing, transparent documentation, and effective written and verbal communication.

Candidates should possess strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work both independently and in a team environment.

Enrollment in or completion of an undergraduate or postgraduate program in a relevant field is highly beneficial; prior exposure to quantum mechanics or solid-state physics is an advantage.
