Position: Water Resource Expert Employment Type: Full Time Key Responsibilities Conduct mapping and assessment of water resources to design integrated watershed and water-use optimization plans.
Promote participatory water budgeting, micro-irrigation, and equitable water distribution practices.
Facilitate rainwater harvesting, aquifer recharge, and surface water conservation aligned with local ecological systems.
Collaborate with government departments, research institutions, and village organizations for effective water governance.
Document and share best practices for replication and policy advocacy on sustainable water management.
Qualification
Bachelor’s/master’s degree in water resource management, Hydrology, or Civil/Environmental Engineering.
Minimum 3 years of experience in watershed development, irrigation planning, or rural water management.
Skills in participatory planning, GIS mapping,
and water data interpretation.
Honorarium: INR 50,000 – 65,000 per month (based on experience and expertise).
