Role Description Student Volunteers in Chennai will support community outreach activities, local events, and youth-focused initiatives coordinated by Youth United Council of India. This volunteer role is hybrid, with most activities taking place in Chennai, complemented by some tasks that can be completed from home, such as online coordination, communication, and documentation. Day-to-day responsibilities may include assisting in organizing workshops or campaigns, engaging with students and local communities,



promoting activities through digital channels, and helping with basic administrative support.

Volunteers will collaborate with other team members, participate in planning meetings, and contribute ideas to improve youth programs and community projects. Qualifications

Interest in youth development, social service, and community engagement.

Basic communication and interpersonal skills to interact with peers and community members.

Organizational and time-management abilities to support events and activities.

Comfort with using email, messaging apps, and social media for coordination and outreach.

Ability to work in a team, show initiative, and adapt to a hybrid work setting.

Current student or recent graduate based in or near Chennai, with availability to volunteer on agreed schedules.

Prior volunteer or leadership experience in clubs, committees, or NGOs is an added advantage but not mandatory.
