Social Engagement Associate

We are looking for a Social Engagement Associate to help us monitor online conversations, identify relevant trends, and engage with posts in a way that reflects our brand voice and perspective.

Role overview

This person will spend time across social platforms spotting interesting posts, emerging narratives, and high-signal conversations relevant to our audience. They will draft and publish thoughtful comments, replies, and engagement responses that sound human, timely, and credible. The role is part trend-watching, part community interaction, and part brand distribution.

Responsibilities
Track trending topics, conversations, creators, and posts across relevant social platforms.
Draft sharp, on-brand comments and replies from our perspective.
Engage with posts, threads, and communities in a timely and thoughtful way.
Identify opportunities for content ideas, collaborations, and audience engagement.
Maintain consistency in tone, positioning, and brand voice across all interactions.
Flag significant conversations, sentiment shifts, and emerging themes to the team.




Support the broader social engagement strategy with observations and recommendations.

Requirements
Strong understanding of social platforms and online culture.
Excellent writing skills with the ability to sound natural, concise, and credible.
Good judgment on brand voice, audience fit, and engagement timing.
Ability to think quickly and comment with clarity and relevance.
Comfortable working independently in a quick-moving environment.
Solid attention to detail and awareness of context before engaging.

Nice to have
Experience in content, community, social media, or editorial roles.
Familiarity with LinkedIn, X, Reddit, and similar platforms.
Ability to identify trends before they become mainstream.
Interest in startups, brands, media, or internet culture.
