Technical Duties: Setting out the site, determining locations for infrastructure, and ensuring designs/drawings are followed correctly.
Quality Assurance: Inspecting work-in-progress, testing materials (e.g., concrete and aggregate strength), and enforcing industry standards.
Resource Management: Estimating material quantities, tracking resource usage, and ordering raw materials.
Safety Compliance: Enforcing health and safety regulations, conducting safety audits, and ensuring the use of proper PPE on site.
Team Coordination: Liaising with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and laborers to resolve conflicts and adjust timelines.
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/Diploma , Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in surveying using equipment (e.g., total stations, GPS) and Computer-aided Drafting (CAD) software.
Soft Skills: Solid project management, problem-solving, and verbal communication abilities
