Key Responsibilities
Procure raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and bought-out components.
Execute procurement based on Bills of Materials (BOM) and production plans.
Coordinate with Production, Planning, Stores, and Engineering teams to ensure uninterrupted material availability.
Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) and follow up with suppliers for timely deliveries.
Develop and manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Source molds, tooling, machine spare parts, and assembly components.
Handle procurement of CAPEX and OPEX items, including machinery, maintenance materials, and service contracts.
Monitor inventory levels and maintain optimum stock to avoid shortages and excess inventory.
Maintain procurement records, vendor master, pricing, and purchase history in the ERP system.
Prepare procurement MIS reports and support inventory audits.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and vendor negotiations.
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Commerce,



Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification in Materials Management or Supply Chain will be an added advantage.

Experience
3–6 years of experience in procurement within a manufacturing setting.
Experience in Plastic Injection Molding, Consumer Goods, Baby Products, or similar industries preferred.
Hands-on experience with BOM-based purchasing, MRP, and ERP systems.
