Provide leadership and guidance around Manufacturing feasibility from initial concept development through to factory launch, in the area of stampings

BE/Btech/ME/MTech

Required Experience

10 years' relevant experience including positions of responsibility

Internal and External Interactions

Internal - Engineering Team, QAD, CP, Manufacturing

External - Toolmaker

Role Description
Manage excellence in the forming simulation team
Deliver feasibility support to ensure designs meet manufacturing processes
Take responsibility to mentor, train and develop the AMEC team




Awareness of market trends and developments in order to influence and manage the future development of the team
Providing appropriate support and guidance to BIW and Closures teams
Work with other departments and functions as required forming simulations
Manage material matrix complexity
Knowledge of mixed material structures Steel, Aluminium
Knowledge of press tooling
Knowledge of stamping simulation
Knowledge of Catia V5
Knowledge of Autoform
