Responsibilities
Collect all necessary input data such as Product CAD / Part drawings / Process flow / Process Sheet / Surrogate tooling CAD, Ergo Standards and Program Assumptions
Develop Concept Fixtures for given assumptions (New & Modified Tools) as per Tooling & Ergo standards using NX CAD Software in Standalone or Connected VET environment & upload in Manufacturing Folder / Program Work package / Program SharePoint,
Other related software to Develop Concept Fixture AWC- Active work space, CATIA, Vismockup.
Perform Kinematics study if required.
Tooling & Fixtures includes Pallets, Lift Assists / aids, Dunnage, Racks, Hand tools, Kit box, Press tool, Test fixture & any special purpose tools based on Process requirements.
Ability to develop from Surrogate program tooling and reduce complexity wherever possible.
Creating 3D finish tooling and final Manufacturing 2D with GD&T.;
Raise issues in Jira / Program SharePoint.
The person must be skilled in NX CAD, AWC, Team center software.
Must have an Automotive manufacturing process exposure in Powertrain [Engine / Transmission / Axle] or Battery Assembly Process.
Very positive understanding of Locator strategy and reading Part drawings.
Should have valuable exposure on NAAMS standard / Design for X / Design for Assembly.
Should have good exposure on pneumatic / servo systems, latest innovation in the clamps, standard part library
Other additional software knowledge (CATIA or any 3D modelling software & Vismockup, Process Simulate, Camtasia,) and with positive communication skill. ( Good to Have Skills)
