– Technical Writer (Manufacturing / Lean Systems) Role: Technical Writer

Location: Sanand(Gujarat)

Purpose of the Role The Technical Writer will create, standardize, and maintain high-quality documentation, work instructions, SOPs, and training materials that support manufacturing operations, lean processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, process guides, manuals, templates, and reference documents.

Create documentation for lean manufacturing practices such as Standardized Work, 5S, Kaizen, Visual Management, Daily Management, and Problem Solving.

Convert complex manufacturing processes into explicit, user-friendly documentation for shopfloor teams and leaders.

Develop training materials, including PowerPoint presentations, facilitator guides, participant manuals, and quick reference guides.

Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, HR, and other stakeholders to gather process information.

Conduct document reviews, incorporate feedback, and maintain document version control.





Manage documentation repositories using SharePoint or other document management systems.

Key Deliverables

SOPs, work instructions, process manuals, and templates.

Training presentations and learning materials.

Lean deployment toolkits, checklists, and visual management standards.

Updated and controlled documentation repository.

Desired Candidate Profile Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: 5–8 years of experience in technical writing, manufacturing documentation, lean systems, QMS, Kaizen documentation.

Required Skills

Robust technical writing and documentation skills.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and production systems.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into transparent, structured documentation.
