Role & responsibilities

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve primary and secondary sales targets within the assigned territory.

Identify, appoint, and manage distributors and dealers to expand the companys distribution network.

Drive retail sales by ensuring strong product presence and visibility across key outlets.

Build and maintain robust relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.

Conduct regular market visits to identify recent business opportunities and monitor competitor activities.

Ensure effective implementation of sales and marketing initiatives in the field.

Monitor stock levels at distributor and retail points to ensure product availability.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets as defined by the company.

Collect market feedback and provide insights to improve product positioning and sales strategy.

Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy payment cycles with channel partners.

Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports and performance updates to management.

Support brand-building activities and promotional campaigns at the ground level.





Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in any discipline (MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred).

1–4 years of experience in field sales, preferably in Perfume, Cosmetics, FMCG, or Personal Care industry.

Proven experience in distributor appointment, channel sales, and retail market development.

Strong understanding of primary and secondary sales processes.

Positive communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.

Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented mindset.

Ability to work independently and handle assigned territory efficiently.

Willingness to travel extensively for field sales activities.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools.

Local market knowledge and existing network of distributors/retailers will be an added advantage.

Candidate should own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license (preferred for field role).
