Role Overview
The Credit Management Analyst is responsible for evaluating customer creditworthiness, managing credit risk exposure, and ensuring timely onboarding and credit approvals in alignment with company policies and financial controls. The role collaborates with Sales, Customer Success, and Finance teams to balance risk and revenue while maintaining compliance and accuracy.
Responsibilities
Monitor credit utilization and past-due percentages to determine actions, including applying or releasing sales blocks.
Approve or recommend customer credit limits and payment terms based on credit risk models and guidelines.
Ensure compliance with SOX controls and IFRS/US GAAP standards.
Facilitate credit committee reviews for high-risk accounts and exceptions.
Maintain accuracy of credit master data and conduct periodic reassessments.
Perform credit evaluations such as financial statement analysis, bureau reports, trade references, and banking information.
Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to support onboarding and balance risk with business objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
4–5 years of experience in credit analysis, collections, or accounts receivable.
Solid understanding of financial statement analysis and credit scoring methodologies.
Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and negotiation skills.
Experience with tools such as D&B;, Experian, and Moody’s.
