Responsibilities
Design and development of transmission components and systems in compliance with standards.
Design knowhow Transmission products such as Torque Converter, Dual Dry Clutch, Dual Wet Clutch, Dual Mass Flywheel, Gear / Speed Reducers, Clutch Kits & Aftermarket Solutions
Create 3D models and 2D drawings using CATIA with a focus on manufacturability and assembly feasibility.
Conduct design reviews, tolerance stack-up analysis, and DFMEA.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (analysis, manufacturing, and validation).
Manage design changes and support product development from concept to production.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering
Essential skills
Robust understanding of mechanical systems, powertrain/transmission mechanisms.
Valuable knowledge of GD&T; and automotive standards.
Hands-on experience in CATIA surface and solid modeling.
