Design, script, configure and run performance tests to validate system performance and stability.
Analyze tests results and work with developers to identify performance bottlenecks and development enhancements.
Perform root cause analysis of performance issues and work with developers on corrective actions.
Provide technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, reliability and scalability.
Track and manage performance issues to resolution.
Oversee system performance lifecycle and identify key metrics for performance improvements.

Requirements
Knowledge/experience in application development/scripting in one or more of the following - C#/Java/Groovy/PowerShell/Python

Experience working in Loadrunner, JMeter and other commercial/open source tools.
Knowledge of performance benchmarks and some profiling/APM tools.
Knowledge of hardware performance characteristics (storage subsystems, memory subsystems, networks, etc).
