Key Roles & Responsibilities
Pre-Operation Preparation:
Prepares the operating room, ensuring all equipment, consumables, and surgical trays are fully sterilized
Scrubs, gowns, and gloves using strict sterile techniques .
Greets the patient, validates consent, checks NPO status, and provides emotional reassurance
Intra-Operation Assistance:
Acts as the primary bridge between sterile and non-sterile fields Surgical Scrub Nurse: Nursing Specialties Breakdown.
Passes instruments, sutures, and supplies to the surgeon Scrub Nurse
Performs critical baseline and closing counts of sponges, needles, and instruments alongside the circulating nurse
Post-Operation Duties:

Assists in transferring the patient to the recovery unit and documents supply usage Scrub Nurse Role And Responsibilities
Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Must hold a GNM, B.Sc. Nursing, or P.B. B.Sc. Nursing degree
Registration: Valid registration with the Odisha State Nursing Council
Experience: Previous experience in an operating theatre, surgical ward, or emergency unit is highly preferred

Pay: ₹13,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
