FMCG Field Sales Executive (HoReCa) – Job Description

Position: FMCG Field Sales Executive (HoReCa)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Field Sales Executive to develop and manage business in the HoReCa (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés/Catering) segment. The candidate will be responsible for generating new business, maintaining strong customer relationships, achieving sales targets, and expanding the company's presence in the market.

Key Responsibilities:
Visit hotels, restaurants, cafés, caterers, cloud kitchens, and institutional clients regularly.
Generate new leads and convert them into long-term customers.
Promote and sell FMCG products to HoReCa customers.
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Build and maintain robust relationships with chefs, purchase managers, and business owners.
Conduct product demonstrations and explain product benefits.
Collect customer orders and coordinate timely deliveries.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
Ensure timely collection of payments from customers.




Prepare daily visit reports and maintain customer records in the CRM or reporting system.
Identify opportunities to increase product placement and repeat orders.

Requirements:
1–3 years of field sales experience in FMCG, preferably in the HoReCa segment.
Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to travel locally for customer visits.
Self-motivated, target-driven, and customer-focused.
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and smartphone-based reporting.
Valid two-wheeler driving license is preferred.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in selling spices, food ingredients, packaged foods, beverages, edible oils, or other FMCG products.
Existing network of hotels, restaurants, cafés, caterers, or institutional buyers is an added advantage.
