Job Title:Pointman/Shuntman

Location: Andal Site, West Bengal

CTC: ₹15,000–₹20,000 monthly CTC

We are hiring an experienced Pointsman/Shuntman to support protected and efficient railway yard operations, including shunting activities, point setting, and train movement coordination while ensuring compliance with railway safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Set and secure railway points (switches) for safe train and shunting movements.
Assist in coupling/uncoupling of wagons and locomotives during shunting operations.
Provide hand, flag, and lamp signals for safe train movements.
Coordinate with Loco Operators, Yard Masters, and other railway staff.
Inspect tracks and yard conditions and report safety issues.
Ensure compliance with railway safety rules and operational procedures.





Qualifications
Minimum 12th Pass (ITI preferred).
2–3 years of experience in railway yard operations, shunting, or points operation.
Knowledge of railway signalling, shunting rules, and safety procedures.
Medically fit as per Railway standards.

Salary: ₹15,000–₹20,000 monthly CTC per month, based on experience.
