Job Title: Bartender

Department: Food & Beverage – Velocity Nightlife

Reports To: Bar Manager / Operations Manager

Job Summary

The Bartender is responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences by preparing and serving beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of service, hygiene, and bar operations. The role requires excellent product knowledge, robust communication skills, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced nightlife environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines.

Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene of the bar area at all times.

Ensure proper setup and closing of the bar according to operational standards.

Monitor stock levels and report replenishment requirements to the Bar Manager.

Verify legal drinking age and follow responsible alcohol service practices.

Engage with guests professionally and provide recommendations on beverages and cocktails.

Process bills, handle payments, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.

Maintain glassware, bar tools, garnishes, and beverage storage areas.

Follow all health, safety, and company policies.





Support bar promotions, special events, and theme nights at Velocity.

Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth and timely beverage service.

Requirements

Minimum 1–2 years of experience as a Bartender in a bar, pub, hotel, lounge, or nightlife venue.

Positive knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and mixology techniques.

Solid communication and guest service skills.

Ability to work versatile shifts, including weekends, holidays, and late-night operations.

Well-groomed appearance and professional attitude.

Basic knowledge of inventory control and POS systems.

Ability to work under pressure in a high-volume environment.
