Job Description

Develop and manage instrument maintenance strategies including preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
Prepare maintenance plans, job cards, and schedules using CMMS (SAP PM / Maximo or equivalent).
Identify critical instruments, define maintenance frequencies, and implement condition-based monitoring.
Plan, coordinate, and supervise routine, breakdown, and shutdown/turnaround maintenance activities.
Estimate manpower, spares, tools, and consumables required for maintenance jobs.
Review maintenance history and recommend root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring failures.
Monitor maintenance KPIs such as MTBF, MTTR, instrument availability, and reliability.
Coordinate with operations, planning, and other disciplines to minimize plant downtime.
Support spares management, critical spare identification, and vendor coordination.
Ensure proper calibration, testing, and documentation of all field instruments.
