About the Role

IS GOING ONLINE is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to lead backend development initiatives and contribute to the design and development of scalable, high-performance software systems. The ideal candidate will possess robust technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
Architect and implement secure, high-performance RESTful APIs.
Lead technical design discussions and software architecture decisions.
Review code and mentor junior developers.
Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
Design productive database structures and optimize queries.
Collaborate with product, operations, and frontend teams to deliver features.
Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement robust solutions.
Ensure adherence to coding standards, documentation, and best practices.
Drive continuous improvement in development processes and engineering practices.

Required Skills
4+ years of professional software development experience.
Strong expertise in Python.
Extensive experience with Flask,



FastAPI, or Django.
Strong experience designing and developing REST APIs.
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles.
Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to mentor team members and lead technical initiatives.

Good to Have
Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of microservices architecture.
Experience with system performance monitoring and optimization.
Understanding of DevOps practices and automated deployments.

Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
