Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ITI Mechanic with 1–3 years of experience in fabrication and pipeline works to supervise and support mechanical activities in a water pipeline project. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing fabrication, installation, maintenance, and execution of pipeline-related works while ensuring quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise fabrication and installation activities for water pipeline projects.
Monitor pipeline laying, alignment, fitting, welding, and testing activities.
Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, and workers to ensure smooth execution of work.
Inspect materials, tools, and equipment before use.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Maintain daily work progress reports and site records.
Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and pipeline-related issues.




Monitor manpower productivity and allocate tasks effectively.
Ensure preventive maintenance of site machinery and equipment.

Requirements
ITI Certificate in Mechanic/Fitter/Welder or related trade.
1–3 years of experience in fabrication and pipeline works.
Experience in water supply, irrigation, or utility pipeline projects preferred.
Knowledge of welding, fabrication, pipe fitting, and installation techniques.
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and site layouts.
Valuable communication and supervisory skills.
Knowledge of safety practices and quality control procedures.

Preferred Skills
Leadership and team management.
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Basic knowledge of MS Office for reporting.
Familiarity with HDPE, DI, MS, or GI pipelines.
