Job Summary:

EyeMantra Hospital is hiring for dedicated Optometry Interns to join our team in Gurugram. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in conducting eye exams, assisting with diagnosing visual conditions, prescribing corrective lenses under supervision, and supporting patient care. This internship is a great chance for students or recent graduates to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge in a professional setting while working alongside experienced optometrists.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Eye Exams:
Assist Senior Optometrists in performing eye exams, refraction tests, and using diagnostic equipment.
Provide basic tests such as visual acuity checks, color vision tests, and basic ocular health assessments.
Prepare patients for exams and assist with the application of contact lenses or glasses fittings under supervision.
Patient Care Support:
Educate patients on proper eye care practices and corrective lens usage.
Help maintain patient records and document their eye health assessments.




Participate in follow-up care and provide routine eye care advice.
Equipment Handling & Maintenance:
Assist in the operation and maintenance of diagnostic equipment, including slit-lamp machines, autorefractors, and tonometers.
Learn and apply best practices for using optometry equipment under senior guidance.

Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Optometry (B.Optom).
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Skills:
Basic knowledge of optometry practices and eye health.
Ability to assist in conducting eye exams, operating diagnostic equipment, and maintaining patient records.
Strong desire to learn and develop skills in optometry under senior supervision.
