Counseling the patient with patience for effective conduct of the test
To ensure interpretation of the reading is done by Consultant.
Coordinating with Ward nursing staff for inpatients requiring the test
Providing provisional reports with Consultants consent in cases of emergency.
Timely dispatch of EEG reports.
Inventory Oriented:
Check stock related to the test (Ether, Sticking plaster, Pedicloryl Syrup, Crape bandage etc…)
Showing consumption of used material.
Medication related: Not Applicable
Department related
Prioritizing the quick conduct of EEG for OPD Patients
Skills
Technical know how:
Functioning of the EEG machine
Checking for accurate performance of the test
Checking the impedance of electrode
Basic knowledge of Hospital Information systems
Alertness:
To take care of patients while performing the test if patient gets Jerks / Seizures.
Comfort level of the patient while performing the test
Interpersonal skills:
Fluency & transparent understanding in educating the patient for the test
Patient & Courteous
Basic Emergency Training:
Requires training in BLS
