About the Role
Kaigo Home Health Care is hiring a dedicated Staff Nurse to provide quality nursing care in our laboratory and during home healthcare visits. This role combines laboratory sample collection with patient care services, offering excellent hands-on clinical exposure in a growing healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities
Collect blood samples from walk-in patients and during home visits.
Perform safe venipuncture and ensure proper sample labeling, handling, and transportation.
Provide home nursing care as per physician instructions.
Perform clinical procedures including:
IV Cannulation
Urinary Catheter Insertion & Care
Ryles Tube (NG Tube) Insertion & Feeding
Wound & Post-operative Dressing
Insulin Administration
Medication Administration
Monitor and record patients' vital signs.
Assist doctors during home consultations and medical procedures.
Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment and home care.
Maintain accurate patient records and visit reports.
Follow infection control protocols and maintain clinical hygiene standards.
Ensure proper maintenance of medical equipment and supplies.
Qualifications
ANM / GNM / B.Sc Nursing.
Kerala Nursing Council Registration preferred.
Freshers and experienced candidates can apply.
Good communication and patient handling skills.
Willingness to travel within Thiruvananthapuram for home visits.
Two-wheeler with a valid driving licence is preferred.
