Hiring Requirements – Substation Design / Protection Engineer

Experience: 5–8 Years

We are looking for an experienced Substation Design / Protection Engineer with solid hands-on experience in substation engineering, protection systems, and project coordination.

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
5–8 years of relevant experience in substation electrical design and engineering projects.
Solid knowledge of CT/VT sizing and selection.
Experience in relay setting calculations and protection coordination studies.
Knowledge of Substation Automation Systems (SAS) and communication system design.
Hands-on experience in ETAP for electrical system studies and analysis.
Ability to prepare, review, and coordinate electrical design drawings, calculations, and technical documentation.
Experience in managing and coordinating substation design projects from concept through completion.
Ensure project deliverables comply with applicable engineering standards and ISO 9001:2015 quality requirements.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, consultants, and internal multidisciplinary teams.
Provide technical support to the commercial team for quotations, invoicing,



vendor evaluation, and finalization.
Monitor project progress, technical quality, deliverables, and timely completion.
Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently as well as lead and coordinate a technical team.

Software Skills:
ETAP – Mandatory
AutoCAD
MS Office
Knowledge of other electrical engineering / substation design software will be an advantage.

Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

A technically strong and proactive electrical engineering qualified with a hands-on approach to substation design, protection, automation, and communication systems, along with the ability to manage project delivery, quality, and cross-functional coordination.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
