We are looking for a Video Editor who can transform research scripts and voiceovers into compelling YouTube videos that maximize audience retention and engagement.

This is not a basic editing role. The ideal candidate understands YouTube storytelling, pacing, visual communication, and motion graphics.

Key Responsibilities
Edit long-form YouTube videos (8–20 minutes)
Source and organize visuals, stock footage, images, maps, and graphics
Create engaging visual sequences that support narration
Design motion graphics and animated infographics
Create map animations and geographic visualizations when required
Add sound effects, music, transitions, and subtitles
Improve pacing and viewer retention throughout videos
Collaborate on thumbnail and visual strategy when needed
Deliver projects according to content calendar deadlines

Required Skills
Solid proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent skilled editing software
Experience with Adobe After Effects or similar motion graphics software
Understanding of YouTube audience retention and storytelling
Ability to create clean and professional motion graphics




Strong visual sense and attention to detail
Ability to independently source appropriate visuals
Valuable communication and project management skills

Preferred Skills
Experience editing documentary-style YouTube videos
Experience creating animated maps
Experience with educational or explainer content
Knowledge of color grading and audio enhancement
Familiarity with AI-assisted editing workflows
