Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced expatriate Draw Frame Technical Expert to lead the preventive maintenance of draw frame machines in a textile manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will ensure equipment reliability, minimize downtime, support commissioning activities, and develop the technical capability of the local maintenance team.

Key Responsibilities
Plan and execute preventive maintenance for draw frame machines.
Maintain and troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC systems.
Inspect, maintain, and calibrate drafting systems, autoleveller systems, servo drives, and can changers.
Diagnose equipment faults, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Support machine installation, commissioning, and production ramp-up.




Maintain maintenance records and manage critical spare parts.
Train, mentor, and develop local maintenance technicians.
Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance best practices.

Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Textile Engineering, or a related discipline.
8–15 years' experience maintaining draw frame machines in a textile manufacturing setting.
Hands-on experience with autoleveller systems, servo drives, PLCs, and pneumatic systems.
Strong troubleshooting, maintenance planning, and equipment reliability experience.
Previous international or expatriate experience in a textile manufacturing setting is an added advantage.
Willingness to relocate and work in Kano State, Nigeria.
