Set up and operate CNC turning machines as per production requirements.
Load raw materials and secure workpieces in chucks, collets, or fixtures.
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Select appropriate cutting tools, inserts, and machine parameters.
Perform machine offsets and tool setting adjustments.
Monitor machining operations to ensure dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
Measure finished components using vernier calipers, micrometers, bore gauges, and other inspection tools.
Conduct first-piece and in-process quality inspections.
Make minor program edits and offset corrections when required.
Replace worn or damaged cutting tools and inserts.
Maintain production records and inspection reports.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality standards.
Perform routine machine cleaning and preventive maintenance.
Identify and report machine malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors.
Ensure workplace safety and comply with company safety regulations.
Meet daily production targets while minimizing material wastage and machine downtime.
