Job Summary:
The Assembly Technician is responsible for accurately assembling mechanical parts and components using hand tools, power tools, and fixtures.
This role requires interpreting technical documents, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble parts and sub-assemblies as per blueprints, engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions. Measure components and assemblies using precision tools such as calipers and micrometers to ensure compliance with specifications.
Inspect and test completed assemblies for functionality and quality standards. Troubleshoot assembly issues or component defects and implement corrective actions.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workstation in adherence to company safety policies. Document assembly processes, record production data, and report any deviations or issues.
Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth production flow.
Skills & Qualifications:
Technical aptitude with a solid understanding of mechanical component interaction.
Ability to work precisely within tight tolerances.
Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve assembly issues.
Effective teamwork and communication skills.
Prior experience in assembly or manufacturing is an advantage.
