Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer – Valves Industry

Education: Diploma / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
Experience: 7–12 Years

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer with a solid background in valve manufacturing. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in quality inspection of castings, forgings, machining, welding, assembly, pressure testing, and NDT processes while ensuring compliance with customer specifications and international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of valve components and finished products.
Inspect castings, forgings, machining (boring), welding, and assembly activities.
Review and verify NDT reports (RT, UT, MT, PT) and welding documentation.
Conduct dimensional inspection using precision measuring instruments.
Witness hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure testing of valves.
Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, ISO,



and customer specifications.
Prepare inspection reports, NCRs, CAPA, and quality documentation.
Coordinate with production, suppliers, customers, and third-party inspectors to resolve quality issues.
Support internal, external, and customer quality audits.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve product quality.

Required Skills
Strong knowledge of casting, forging, machining (boring), welding, and NDT.
Experience in valve manufacturing or heavy engineering industry.
Ability to read engineering drawings and quality standards.
Valuable analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
