Job description for Production Department

Division: Plant | Post: CNC Machine Shop Supervisor / Manager
Co-ordinate with maintenance department for preventive and corrective maintenance and maximum uptime
Cycle-time optimization through programming
Experience in QMS and quality tools
Insert and tool cost reduction
Knowledge of instruments, gauges, and calibration
Maintain safety of man and machine
Prior experience with handling number of CNC lathes, VMCs, or HMCs
Production Planning and load balancing to ensure no shortages
Solid man-power handling to increase productivity
Time-study and work-study projects to increase productivity and OEE
