Key Responsibilities
Operate conventional lathe (turning) machines safely and efficiently.
Perform turning, facing, drilling, boring, threading, and taper turning operations.
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
Set up machines, select cutting tools, and maintain required dimensions and tolerances.
Measure components using Vernier calipers, micrometers, dial gauges, and other precision measuring instruments.
Maintain production quality and achieve daily production targets.
Perform routine machine maintenance and keep the work area clean and organized.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.

Eligibility
ITI Turner (Mandatory)
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)




1–5 years of experience as a Turner in a manufacturing industry.

Required Skills
Valuable knowledge of conventional lathe machines.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Knowledge of measuring instruments and quality inspection.
Understanding of machining tolerances and cutting parameters.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
