Responsibilities:
Responsible for sales and promotion of world-class American automation products designed for the Indian market.
Conduct technical presentations for customers, analyze their technical and business requirements, and recommend suitable automation solutions.
Follow up on sales leads and generate current business opportunities through telephone, email, and direct solicitation.
Execute direct sales to customers while providing solid support to local distributors in the assigned region.
Train distributor sales engineers on company products, applications, and effective selling techniques.
Reside within the assigned marketing area; the company has identified 75 marketing areas across India.
Manage and guide the sales engineers operating within the designated region and ensure achievement of sales targets.
Travel extensively across the assigned marketing area to visit customer accounts and distributor locations.
Represent the company at local trade shows, exhibitions, technical forums,
and conferences to promote products and network with potential clients.
Participate in advanced training programs on strategic selling skills and technical product knowledge, including periodic training in the United States.
Prerequisites / Requirements:
Proven track record of successful sales performance in technical or industrial products.
Solid aptitude for computers and mechatronics concepts.
Aggressive, dynamic, and confident with excellent communication skills in English and local languages.
Skilled in making technical presentations to both small and large groups.
Strong understanding of the sales process with enthusiasm to learn and apply strategic selling methods from global experts.
Strong leadership abilities to manage, mentor, and motivate a team of sales engineers and distributor representatives.
