Job Description:

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

The job involves proficiency in modelling of equipment, structural and piping in 3D environment and preparation of fabrication drawings in 2D environment. Preparing and reviewing Equipment layout, General arrangement drawing, detail fabrication drawings, piping isometric drawings and MTO. The ideal candidate should have knowledge in materials, Piping specifications, welding symbols, etc.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
3D modelling of equipment, piping using Tekla / Advance Steel
Reviewing the P&ID; and coordinating with package engineer to finalizes
Preparing the Line list and equipment list
Preparation of Piping BOM and Review
Preparation of General Arrangement drawings for Package & Equipment
Preparation of Tank Fabrication drawings
Preparation of Structural GA & Fabrication drawings including connection details, etc.
Preparation of Lifting arrangement drawings
Preparation of Foundation load drawings
Isometric Drawing extraction using Tekla / Advance Steel
Preparation of Layout drawings
Preparation of Cutting Layout drawing
Preparation of BOM’s / MTO’s for Piping, Equipment, Structure,



Valves etc.
Familiarity with Preparation of GA and Detail drawings for Well head control panels, Modular packages, etc. will be an advantage
As built Mark-ups and updating CAD drawings for final issue
Attending shop floor issues during fabrication
Preparation of Piping GAs, Isometrics, MTO, etc.
Experience in vendor drawing review/commenting will be preferred
Experience in engineering drawings checking/commenting will be an advantage.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
3 - 6 years of experience in 3D modelling works, detailing of tank / vessel, structural parts, etc.
Should have knowledge in materials, Piping specifications, welding symbols, etc.
Experience in Oil & Gas industry highly preferred.
Positive experience in Tekla / Advance Steel
Good experience in AutoCAD

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES
Solid knowledge in Plant 3D software (Tekla / Advance Steel or equiv)
Strong knowledge in 2D software (AutoCAD / Microstation or equiv)
Positive at usage of MS office
Familiarity in SAP (Preferred)
