SDE 1 – Software Development Engineer I

Experience: 1–3 years
Location: Bangalore/Hyderabad
Department: Engineering / Product Development
Reports to: Engineering Manager / Tech Lead

Role Summary:

As an SDE 1, you will be part of a fast-paced engineering team building scalable and reliable software products. You’ll work closely with experienced engineers to learn best practices and contribute to the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain features across the tech stack (frontend/backend).
Write clean, testable, and effective code.
Participate in agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
Collaborate with QA, Product, and Design teams.
Learn and apply engineering best practices including code reviews and CI/CD.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
Robust foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend languages (Java, Python, Node.js).
Exposure to version control systems like Git.
Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative setting.
