We are having an urgent opening for the position of Senior Merchandiser & Business Development Manager for a reputed Company in Manufacturing industry (Industrial Garment) at the Kolkata Locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Visit international prospects for Business Development
Generate business from recent and existing clients
Developing merchandises for the business
Collaboration with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities and time-scales. Substantial order generation for all products
Analyzing sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs Effective Coordination for timely delivery with production, logistics and purchase
Meticulous & Judicious Pre shipment audits.
Effective Relationship management with the customer.
Age - 35 - 45
Candidates Profile:
Must be at least a Graduate (preferably MBA/BE/NIFT) with valuable command over written and spoken English
Should have robust commercial sense and understanding of export formalities
Experience of independent international travel is essential criteria

He or she much travel internationally on their own to different trade fairs and gather business from there.
Markets to cover: USA, UK, Italy, Middle east, Asian Market and parts of African Market.
