Execute national and international media campaigns to enhance brand presence and thought leadership.

Relations & Outreach
Build and maintain solid relationships with journalists, editors, influencers, and media houses.
Manage media briefings, interviews, public statements, and act as university spokesperson when needed.
Drive consistent earned media coverage through pitching, press releases, story placement, and media kits.
Content

Development & Thought Leadership
Draft and oversee high-quality communication assets including:
Press releases, speeches, op-eds, white papers, FAQs, and leadership briefs.
Shape narratives around MSU's achievements in education, skilling, innovation, and policy advocacy.
Reputation





Management & Crisis Communication
Design a robust crisis communication protocol.
Monitor public sentiment and respond to potential risks or reputational challenges with clarity and control.
Internal

Collaboration & Team Leadership
Lead and mentor an in-house PR team and coordinate with external PR agencies and communication partners.
Work closely with digital marketing, content, and leadership teams to ensure brand consistency.
Monitoring, Reporting & Insights
Track media coverage, sentiment, and engagement using tools like Meltwater, Cision, Google Alerts, etc.
Analyze PR performance metrics and present actionable insights to the leadership team.
