1 Supervise and coordinate all nursing activities during the night shift across assigned

units.

2  Ensure adequate staffing levels and manage duty rosters for night shift nursing staff.

3  Monitor patient care standards and ensure adherence to hospital nursing protocols.

4  Provide clinical guidance and support to staff nurses during emergencies and critical

situations.

5  Act as the primary point of contact for night-time operational issues.

6  Ensure proper handover between evening and night shift nursing teams.

7  Conduct regular rounds to monitor patient condition, nursing care, and ward

discipline.

8  Address and resolve patient or attendant complaints promptly and professionally.

9  Ensure availability and proper utilization of emergency drugs, equipment, and

supplies.

10  Coordinate with on-call doctors, duty medical officers, and support departments as

required.

11  Verify and ensure accurate nursing documentation,



medication records, and incident

reports.

12  Monitor infection control practices and ensure compliance with safety standards.

13  Report any untoward incidents, medico-legal cases, or critical events to management

immediately.

14  Mentor junior nursing staff and promote teamwork during night hours.

15  Ensure smooth admissions, transfers, and discharges during the night shift.

16  Maintain discipline, punctuality, and skilled conduct among night shift staff.

17  Prepare and submit night shift reports to the Nursing Superintendent or concerned

authority.

18  Take charge of hospital operations during night hours in the absence of senior

management.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
