Job Responsibilities

1. Utilize business intelligence expertise, business knowledge and technical skills to successfully deliver Business Intelligence solutions based on Pentaho BI Platform.
2. Analyzing, designing, testing and coding of BI front end applications and backend engines according to the user requirements.
3. Drive analysis on India-spanning projects and key strategic decisions.
4. Coordinate with other members of the Data Science team to measure the impact and efficiency of new products and business processes.
5. Develop analytical frameworks to support the company in new markets and products.
6. Identify operational weaknesses and help improve or innovate new processes.
7. Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting models to assist city-level, regional, and national operations and product managers.
8. Participate in the end to end lifecycle of BI implementations including Design, Development, Deploy and Evolve.
9. Design and develop Hive / MySQL / HBase databases, ETL, and other database components to support Business Intelligence dashboards and reporting.
10. Adhere to development methodologies, standards, naming conventions and best practices.
11. Prepare project related documentation during the different stages of the project as required.

Apply architectural and engineering concepts to design a solution that meets operational requirements, such as scalability, maintainability, security, reliability, extensibility, flexibility, availability, and manageability.
13. Participate in Technical Design Document creation.
14. Collaborate with Technical and Business Analysts to design/extend the physical data model and security model.
15. Install, configure, tune and manage the enterprise ETL, storage, query, artifact generation, presentation and user authentication layers for enterprise BI solutions.

Education Requirement

- B.E./B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech/MS

Experience Requirement

- 8 years & above

Skills & Competencies

1. Expertise in providing an end to end BI solution by configuring metadata and building Analytics Repository, dimensional modeling design, building business models, generating reports and creating dashboards using Analytics.
2. Strong technical knowledge of Pentaho and related BI Applications, including approach to implementing, extending and supporting using third party modules.
3. Solid technical understanding of data structures generated by mobile applications and networks, and how they relate to establishing data warehousing, data management and analytic architectures.
