Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Fortinet security solutions, Microsoft Defender security stack, and Cisco Umbrella. The role involves network, endpoint, and cloud security operations, incident response, threat monitoring, and compliance support in a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will work closely with SOC, Infra, and application teams to ensure proactive threat detection, rapid incident resolution, and continuous security posture improvement.

Key Responsibilities
Network & Perimeter Security
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Fortinet FortiGate firewalls (policies, NAT, VPN, IPS/IDS, HA).
• Implement and monitor site-to-site and remote access VPNs (IPsec / SSL).
• Perform firewall rule reviews, cleanup, and optimization aligned with security best practices.

Endpoint & Identity Security
• Administer Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, including:
o Threat detection and response
o Endpoint protection policies
o Advanced hunting and alert investigation
• Support Defender integrations with identity and email security where applicable.

DNS, Web & Cloud Security
• Manage and monitor Cisco Umbrella:
o DNS-layer security
o Secure internet gateway (SIG)



policies
o Investigation of malicious domains and user activity
• Analyze Umbrella threat reports and coordinate containment actions.

Security Operations & Incident Management
• Handle security incidents (P1–P3) across firewall, endpoint, and web security domains.
• Perform root cause analysis, containment, and remediation activities.
• Coordinate with SOC, TAC (Fortinet / Cisco / Microsoft), and internal stakeholders during incidents.

Monitoring, Compliance & Reporting
• Continuously monitor alerts, logs, and security dashboards.
• Support internal and external audits (ISO 27001, SOC2, NIST, client audits).
• Prepare operational reports, incident summaries, and security metrics for leadership review.

Change & Configuration Management
• Prepare and implement firewall and security changes with proper risk assessment.
• Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and security documentation.
• Ensure adherence to ITIL-based incident, problem, and change management processes.
