Job Summary
To conceptualize| design and deliver product / sustenance delivery through the team as per defined scope and standards in a particular technology• Work on large scale global OEM engagements supporting leading elevator manufacturers.• Provide system level engineering expertise across elevator products (passenger, freight, residential).• Support end to end product lifecycle activities including NPD, order engineering, sustenance, and modernization.• Collaborate with global, cross functional teams (mechanical, electrical, electronics, software).• Drive engineering excellence and value creation through design optimization, change management, and technical reviews.• Contribute to enterprise scale programs involving multiple product variants, standards, and geographies.• Own system level understanding of elevator architecture, including interactions between mechanical, electrical, control, and safety subsystems.• Analyze and resolve system integration issues arising from changes in subsystems, configurations, or site conditions.• Evaluate end to end elevator system performance (ride quality, safety, load handling, reliability) rather than isolated component design.• Support configuration driven engineering,



ensuring correct system behavior across multiple product variants and options.• Assess impact of design changes at system level, including downstream effects on installation, commissioning, and maintenance.• Work on global platform based elevator systems, adapting designs to meet regional codes, standards, and customer requirements.• Review and validate system layouts, schematics, and technical documentation for correctness and completeness.• Interface with controls, drive, and safety teams to ensure coordinated system functionality and compliance.• Support system level troubleshooting for field issues, modernization constraints, and non standard installations.• Contribute to system level value engineering, balancing cost, safety, performance, and manufacturability.
